Ixora popularly known as Santan flower are the one of the most easiest plant to grow in the garden especially in the Philippines. Just cut a stalk and sink it into soil and after some weeks they begin to grow! It can be found almost anywhere like house gardens, parks, work places and school campuses. They come in different colors, like pink, white orange and yellow. 
I grow a pink santan in my backyard and red orange which I planted two years ago and they bloom fast. I always like to look at them especially after the rain where droplets of water remains of the petals. Thank you for viewing.This is my entry for Macro Flowers Saturday!

The other nice thing about tropical climates is that you have flowers all year long! We are now looking at dried flowers, they are all that are left of the summer blooms.

I must have Halloween on the brain because I thought you said satan flower. It does have some spikey petals.
Both colors are so pretty. Easy to care for is my favorite kind of flower. Unfortunately our flowers are almost gone until next spring. I guess I will enjoy yours Al.
